Details & Model Background

This project is my creative exploration in 3D modeling, presenting an iconic replica of Kopi Keliling (Starling), a typical Indonesian street vendor, in digital format. I chose the low-poly style to ensure the model has minimal polygon count while retaining strong visual character, making it very lightweight for implementation across various digital platforms.

In the creation process, I used Blender as the primary tool. My focus was to create an asset that is not only visually appealing but also has a clean and organized mesh structure. This is crucial for web developers or game developers who need 3D assets that are easy to optimize without burdening application or website performance.

This model represents my ability to combine artistic aesthetics with technical efficiency. Although it looks simple, every small detail—from the cart structure to the placement of coffee thermoses—is designed to give an authentic feel. This asset is ready for use as a game asset, environment asset in 3D applications, or as an interactive object in web portfolios based on Three.js or React Three Fiber.

How the System Works

The modeling system starts with a basic blocking stage using primitive geometric shapes in Blender to determine accurate scale and proportions of the coffee cart. After the basic shape is formed, I perform low-poly modeling using extrude and loop cut techniques to ensure efficient mesh topology that is easy to render by game engines or web renderers.

The next step is precise UV Unwrapping. I map textures efficiently to minimize memory usage, then apply flat shading or simple material coloring to highlight the clean low-poly aesthetic. No heavy textures (like 4K maps) are used, making this asset very bandwidth-friendly and speeding up website loading times.

Finally, the model is exported to web-compatible formats such as GLB/GLTF. This export process involves file size optimization and checking the node structure to ensure compatibility when imported into modern web development frameworks like Three.js, allowing the model to be rendered in real-time in users' browsers without performance issues.

Key Features
